Meet Tristan from the United States. Tristan was only 6 when he executed a random act of kindness to a stranger. And he hasn't stopped since.
What's Tristan's take on kindness?
"Kindness is a trait that we all can possess. It is a need to brighten another person's day. It is the want to make change even if it is as simple as bringing one more smile into this world. Kindness towards others does not have to be some extravagant gesture, but can be small enough to change a moment in a passing person's day. If you have nothing to give, give your kindness. This world needs kindness more now than ever before. Smile. Hold a door. Do something to impact another human being because at the end of the day, we are in this together."

Meet our Kindness Kids

Kindness is a powerful, compassionate, fundamental human quality that heals, uplifts, and transforms not only those who receive but also those who give and this extends beyond the individual, rippling in our communities and across the globe. Kindness is not about grand gestures, but consistent, thoughtful daily intentional actions that demonstrate care and respect, compassion, and genuine empathy toward others.
Demonstrating kindness doesn’t need to be monumental. It’s the everyday, small, often random, daily acts of generosity toward another that is so powerful in paying it forward that often it goes unnoticed. Kindness Worldwide, founded by Kevin Smith, embodies this with the mission statement being -
See the good. Be the good. Go the extra mile.
and by following this mission statement, we, as a collective,
have the power to create intentional, impactful change.
Kindness Kids was created to showcase how young people across the globe are creating this meaningful change. They understand that the beauty of kindness lies within its extraordinary ability to cross borders and by creating ripples they can also create waves. They understand that by choosing to be kind, they are inspiring not only each other, their peers but also their communities whether this be their school or where they reside. They innately understand that each intentional compassionate act of kindness has the potential to build stronger communities, promote emotional well-being, have someone believe in themselves and feel they belong.
By approaching the world with empathy, understanding, and genuine concern, the youth of today are contributing to a kinder, more connected society and this is something we can learn from them. Each small act of kindness every young person demonstrates, has the potential to touch lives in ways we might never fully comprehend, and it is my humble honour to introduce you to each one of them.
Kindness Kids are on the rise and I am so very proud to be supporting them. Join me as together we celebrate our future selves who are rising up for humanity, across the globe, through random acts of kindness.
